Westwood Membership

Westwood's mission is to provide fun and affordable sailing access in Toronto. If you want to learn to sail, or your an experienced sailor who doesn't want the hassle and expense of maintaining your own boat, or you're looking for an exciting way to spend the summer in Toronto - Westwood is your place. Our members enjoy:

Learn to Sail

• Affordable lessons with Accredited CYA instructors
• Sailing lessons available for beginners (CanSail I & 2 / White Sail 3)
• Sailing lessons available for intermediates (CanSail 3 / Bronze 4)
• Catamaran sailing lessons for members with CanSail 3 or equivalent
• Free racing clinics

Recreational Sailing

• Unlimited sailing all summer long without the expense of owning your own boat
• On Thursday evenings we have a social sail, where beginners are matched up with more experienced sailors followed by our Famous Thursday Night Dinner.

Racing

• Weekly Friday Night races in one of North America's largest fleets.
• Weekend Regattas and Sunday afternoon Harbourmaster series throughout the summer.
• Beginners are encouraged to sign up as crew. It’s a great way to improve your skills by sailing with the top skippers in the club.

Social Activities

• Parties held frequently throughout the sailing season, on warm summer evenings on our deck under the stars
• Champagne Breakfast, Pig Roast, and Year-End Party are only some of our famous Westwood traditions
• Frequent casual Barbecues after sailing all afternoon

2013 Full Membership Fees (All prices include HST)

Regular Membership: $525
Student Membership: $429 (Must have College / University ID)

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: Returning Members $485 until April 30

Social Membership: $125
Social membership includes 4 sails per season, use of Clubhouse facilities, and social events.
Lessons, Clinics, and Racing are not available.
