Basic Sailing Lessons: White Sail
No Experience Required!
Beginners are introduced to and taught the basic skills of sailing.
Topics covered include: safety, seamanship and boat handling in winds up to 17 km/hr.
Successful completion of this course certifies you nation-wide at the CYA White Sail III level.
We offer a choice of four separate self-contained sessions:
A - May
- Eight Monday & Wednesday nights from 6 pm - 9:30 pm plus one Saturday class from 9 am - 4 pm
- May 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25
- Also attend a Water Safety Clinic on Tuesday, April 26 from 7 pm - 8:30 pm at St. Lawrence CRC, 230 The Esplanade
B - June (Weekday)
- Ten Monday & Wednesday nights from 6 pm - 9:30 pm
- May 30, June 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29
- Also attend a Water Safety Clinic on Tuesday, May 24 from 7 pm - 8:30 pm at St. Lawrence CRC, 230 The Esplanade
C - June (Weekend)
- Four Saturday classes from 9 am - 4 pm
- May 28, June 4, 11, 18
- Also attend a Water Safety Clinic on Tuesday, May 24 from 7 pm - 8:30 pm at St. Lawrence CRC, 230 The Esplanade
D - July
- Six Monday & Wednesday nights from 6 pm - 9:30 pm plus two Saturday classes from 9 am - 4 pm
- July 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20
- Also attend a Water Safety Clinic on Wednesday, June 29.from 7 pm - 8:30 pm at St. Lawrence CRC, 230 The Esplanade
